Credit Card Security

Rather than handle your credit card details through our system, we take online credit card payments using the secure payment service provided by SagePay, who work in association with all the major clearing banks. SagePay are dedicated providers of online credit card security, owned by Sage plc.

Once the secure link is established between your browser and SagePay's servers (this occurs when you are transferred initially from our site to SagePay), all communication between you, including your credit card details, is encrypted.

When your card is accepted, SagePay's server sends a confirmation to our site. We therefore never have access to your credit card details. It is impossible for anyone to capture your credit card details from our site as it is never stored on or transferred through our server.

SagePay Security Measures.

Credit / debit card details are secured within 128-bit encrypted sessions.
Any sensitive information is stored on a heavily encrypted database that is protected by multiple government approved firewalls.
Additional security measures include a security key that is used to produce an MD5 hash value. Hash values are often used as digital signatures as they cannot be reversed to obtain the original information. They allow the receiver to validate that the information received is identical to that sent.
